This time our intent was to create massive awareness about India as an Emerging Hub for South-East Asian Languages. Shedding light on the topic, Webdunia’s Project Managers, Jitendra Jaiswal & Janmejay Singh Sikarwar presented their propositions and experiences upfront.
Talking about the challenges and solutions, the managers, Jitendra Jaiswal and Janmejay Singh Sikarwar, said “Lack of formal setup for executing large projects, dearth of professional knowledge, availability of experienced linguistics and at many places political instability and infrastructure are some of the major challenges a company may confront with while penetrating into the South-East Asian markets. Furthermore, focusing on this solutions segment, they observe that India is an Emerging Hub for South-East Asian Languages because of its trained workforce and technical expertise, a common culture between SEA and India and the rapport Indians can create with people of the region due to these similarities. Also, there are many other favorable factors like cheap travel facilities and the government of India having a lenient approach towards providing visas to member countries of SAARC and ASEAN, which help India’s efforts in this direction.

Comviva Generic Portal for Caller Ring Back Tones (CRBT) has been successfully developed by Webdunia, and deployed on two telecom operators -Orange (Jordan) and Chad (Nigeria).

The generic portal addresses the problem of a Telecom subscriber of searching a Caller Tune on IVR (Interactive Voice Response) and subscribing it. The subscribers can listen to a tune sample on the web and can also set it as their caller tune after entering mobile number and password.
